  Hi,
  is it possible use custom fields within wordpress.com themes? I found this answer: https://vip.wordpress.com/documentation/vip-development-tips-tricks/custom-fields/ but i think that the wordpress.com not allow install 3rd party plugins like Fieldmanager or Advanced custom fields.

  Hi there,

  You are correct that you cannot install 3rd party plugins, so custom fields with WordPress.com is not possible. They are set for self-hosted WordPress.org sites only.
