Custom Font Not Working – I Have Purchased It

I have paid for the upgrade which has been working fine for ages, but as of yesterday the Font tag in the customization sidebar only has this message for me:
Advanced mode users can go here to edit their Kit ID, or disable advanced mode to enable this control.
I never had this before and have never had to faff with Typekit IDs either. I am not willing to pay for anything again so any advice would be much appreciated.
In another similar thread I read about clearing cookies and cache in Chrome, which I have done to no avail.

That’s very odd, you certainly shouldn’t have seen that. However, I’m not seeing this on my end now — are you still seeing it, or does your Font tab look normal now?

Advanced mode for fonts was removed in Nov 2013, and that’s why you were seeing the message. This FAQ section explains what happened in a little more detail if you’re interested: http://en.support.wordpress.com/custom-design/custom-fonts/#frequently-asked-questions
Sorry for the confusion! I think your fonts look great, and you should be all set because if you have paid for the Custom Design upgrade then custom fonts are included with that so there’s no need to pay an additional fee on top of that normal upgrade cost.
