Custom font support?
-
Hey. I have a font file hosted somewhere else, and I want to use it in my blog. I am pretty good with CSS and HTML and all that, but your custom CSS box keeps stripping out any url(…) parameters I put in, and your Custom Font section doesn’t appear to let me use anything other than typekit fonts.
It is essential that I am able to use my own font, to the point that I will unfortunately need to leave wordpress and establish my blog elsewhere if this feature is not available. Please let me know if what I am attempting to do is possible.
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi,
Unfortunately, you will not be able to use custom fonts at WordPress.com. You will only be able to select from the fonts available at Appearance -> Customize -> Fonts. I apologize if that necessitates you move your site elsewhere!

Thank you for your response. My time with wordpress has been great. Hopefully custom fonts are a feature you guys will consider in a future release.
Thanks

It looks like you currently have a Premium bundle on your account alongside a custom domain. Would you like me to unbundle those two? That way, you can cancel the Premium bundle when you leave WordPress.com and manage your domain separately!

Ah, yes, I’d like that, thank you. I was going to ask about that separately.
Is there a good way to initiate a domain transfer so I can re-purchase the domain somewhere like namecheap? I like to keep all my domains managed in one place. I think there’s some sort of transfer code I need to obtain if I remember correctly.

Done! You can see the separate upgrades here:

I also disabled the automatic renewal on the Premium bundle so it won’t be renewed automatically.

Yep! You’ll want to transfer it as described here:
Can you give that a try?

Alright cool, got the EPP code and it should be transferred in a bit. Thanks for the help man!
