Custom Footer

  Is it possible to create a custom footer?

  I upgraded my plan so that I could choose a custom domain name, as this is for a small business and I didn’t think having wordpress in the site title was as professional.

  I also wanted to change the footer. It seems like the only options for the footer all require mention of wordpress. I would like to put a copyright notice in the footer without also having to have a wordpress note in there.

  It this possible?

  Looks like you already found the option in the Customizer’s Site Identity panel to hide the footer credit, which is available with the Business Plan.

  To add your own copyright notice, you can go into your Customizer’s CSS panel and add this code, modifying it as you like.

  .site-info::after {
       content: "0A9 2016 NPK DemoTrax";
  }

  The 0A9 part is for the copyright symbol. Let me know how it goes.
