Custom header broken into to?

  When I posted a custom header image, the image appears under the “Presentation>Custom Header Image” perfectly, however when visiting my page, it appears as if it has a black bar down the exact center of the image/ it looks like the picture is split into to. Any idea why this is??

  That’s the way that theme works. If you don’t like it, try another theme. (Not sure if it can be fixed with the custom CSS.)

  Making that header image whole is easy with CSS as I outined here:

  But I agree, faster and less expensive would be to change themes.
