custom header but not correct sizes

    I’m trying to add a custom header to this website, on Gateway template which is changeable. I have created the header at 2560 x 640 as required, and at 72dpi. However the header comes in huge and shows about 20% of the image. I have tried in the css to change settings and adapt to fit better but no luck. I can select the correct items ‘click off’ for the header to make the image smaller and fit better in the ‘inspect’ box but cannot then make these changes in the css style sheets. I need help please.

    Hi there, I’m seeing your header image in it’s entirety on all screen sizes. On smaller screens, it appears very small with the logo hanging off the bottom. We could adjust the logo image size on smaller screens, but the problem is it would get very tiny if we wanted to keep it within the bounds of the header image.

    If you can give me a bit of an idea what you would want to do, I can see if I can come up with some CSS to accomplish that.
