Custom Header Changed by itself
-
Suddenly my custom color header changed by itself. When I go to fix it via custom colors, the color palette shows it correctly, (should be red background with crisp white lettering) but the new header (white background with blue-outlined bubble lettering) still shows up… any suggestions??
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Garland, is now retired and themes are retired when they no longer sup[port all WordPress.com features. I’m not sure if that has anything to do with your header issue or not. Perhaps another Volunteer will be able to help prior to Staff assisting you but rather than leave this thread and you hanging around waiting for that to happen I’m tagging it for Staff.

Hi there,
I see you switched your blog to The Morning After theme. Would you still like help with this issue?
If you want to keep using the Garland theme you had before, you can switch back to that theme on your blog and I’ll be happy to take a look at it for you. If you have any questions about your new theme, instead, please let me know. :)

Thank you, Rachel. I decided last night to switch to The Morning After theme, but I am having some difficulty with posts. Can you tell me how to have more than one post show up on the front page? I’d like several “Latest Posts”, but there’s only one… Thanks!

The Morning After theme is designed to feature just a few posts on the home page. Your one latest post will appear on the home page, and you can add featured posts below that by marking them as sticky posts. Below that, you can add short “aside” posts by creating posts with the aside post format.
This theme isn’t designed to show more than the one latest post, so if you’re looking to show more posts on your front page it may not be the right theme for you. However, you can always include the Recent Posts Widget in your sidebar to point visitors to more of your recent posts. :)
Please let me know if you have any other questions!

For more details on TMA, see my guide to the theme:
http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/06/02/the-morning-after/The color issue on Garland is probably due to some changes WP is trying to implement (they’ve been messing the one theme after the other). It can probably be corrected via CSS editing, but I cannot help if I cannot see the problem.

Thanks, Rachel. I’ve been playing with it and came up with the same conclusion. I think it will work for me, though. Appreciate the help!
