Custom Header doesn’t take

  I’m using the Digg 3 template and I’m trying to upload a custom header. I created my header in Photoshop Elements, saved it at the precise size as a JPEG, and uploaded it with no problem. At every step, I get messages saying that everything is fine, followed by, hey, you’re all set, have a look! But the header is blank. Am I doing something wrong, or will it magically pop up later?
