Custom header image
-
Since yesterday (Monday) when I go to the custom header section I cannot upload a new image. The page looks wonky too – the normal button showing the “choose image” thing has transformed into a weird grey box with a target symbol. If I put my mouse over the words “choose image” it still appears to be active but when I select an image and click upload no image is shown, just a grey space. Any ideas?

Can you give us the URL of the blog, plus let us know which browser and version you’re using? Have you updated your virus protection or changed your firewall?

I’m having the exact same problem. I’m using Safari. I guess I’ll go try Firefox to see if it works.

Firefox worked fine, but now I’m having a problem with photos showing up fine in the blog in Safari, but showing up as alt text in Firefox.

I’m seeing missing images in Firefox and in Safari. The first (grandparents arrive) and the last (img_9851_blog.jpg). -

Go into manage > uploads and verify that those two images are there. If they are, open the post for edit and see if the images show up. If they do not there, then try reinserting them after deleting the broken links for those photos in the post. -
I just tried to download those missing images from your blog page, and it says they don’t exist. They might have somehow disappeared from your uploads.
