Custom Header Image
-
Dear WordPress:
I have been a proud user since 2005. However, as you constantly update your site and its offerings, I continue to find bugs. Some things don’t need to be constantly updated, such as the compose screen (just leave it alone!), etc.
My specific problem, which has been ongoing for at least a year now, is the header image option under the Customizer bar. No matter how many times I select an image (in this case, the default image that came with my theme, Parisian), and click ‘save and publish,’ when I ‘x’ out of the customizer bar, my header returns to the old picture. I tried this at least 6 times just now with no luck whatsoever.
Please assist.
Thanks,
Mark HornerP.S. When I looked in the community help section under this topic, it directed me to ‘contact support.’ The only option I found to do so was on this screen, ‘Contact Us.’ However, the only submission option was to ‘ask in the forums,’ which is misleading, since the form doesn’t actually GO to WordPress, just to its users.
As such, how am I to know when someone replies to my community question post?

P.P.S. I was able to change my header font by finding a work-around. I saved the default header to my PC and uploaded it again and viola! it worked. But still, a bit ridiculous.
