Custom header image from media library

  • Unknown's avatar

I want to change my custom header image every now and then. Since every image I’ve uploaded so far has gone into my Media Library, how do I revert to using an already uploaded image? I can’t find a command to do this, neither in the Custom Header page, nor in the Media Library. I have already looked in the Support section of wordpress.com and found no mention of this. A search on the forum didn’t help. Does anyone knows at least whether it is possible or not?

    Thanks in advance
    Riccardo

The site linked to your name is not a WP.com blog but a Myspace, and we won’t be able to help you with that.

So I have a blog on wordpress.com, and a MySpace page. I’m also on Facebook, so sue me. :-)

I’ve modified my profile now, so you can see my blog by clicking on my avatar. This probably won’t help with my question, which is related to dashboard commands, but it seems to make you happy, so you’re welcome. ;-)

    i think you are right.

so as a workaround you just keep all versions locally, which you probably do already anyway.

    don’t worry i won’t sue you either.

Once of the reasons we ask for a blog URL is to make sure you are in the right forum since our answers here seldom apply to self-hosted blogs.

There is no way to choose a header image previously uploaded, you would have to upload it again.
