Why does my header image load approx 50% of the time on different computers
-
Hi
I have just created a blog, that is going to ‘launch’ soon, however I have struck trouble. Note I am using the Duster theme
I have viewed the blog on about 20 different computers (Macs and PC’s) and have found that about half the machines (using different browser packages) DO NOT load the header image. The extremes of the not loaded image range from nothing above the black menu band (no picture box at all) to a picture box so large that it occupied the full depth of the screen, even though the pic is the standard pix depth.
Questions:
1. Have I done something wrong?
2. Have I chosen a theme that is outdated / upgrades are lacking for current software?
3. Is WordPress unable to support all browsers? Thanks for your help
Simon

1. Yes, your image is not in JPEG format, despite the extension, it is in PSD (Photoshop format).
You see it in some browsers as some of them are able to display PSD images, but PSD format is not supported for websites.
Please convert your image to JPEG (changing the file extension is not enough, you need to save it for web, from Phsotoshop).
2. No
3. WordPress supports the recent versions of all major browsers.
