Custom Header Image on Different Blog Categories?
-
I see where you can have a custom image on pages with the homepage template. Is it possible to override the header image url based on the url in the browser?
For instance if someone clicks on the “Daily Life” blog category, I want to override the header image URL in CSS. I just can’t find a way to make a decision like an if/then statement in CSS.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

@jeremybhm The best place to learn about using your chosen theme, Gateway, is the theme’s Showcase page https://wordpress.com/themes/gateway/
While you can change the custom header image for your homepage and pages you create (about, contact, etc.), pages built in to the program, like archives, category, tags and author pages, will use the site’s homepage header. It’s not something you can change without the Custom Design upgrade and CSS.
If you have the Premium or Business bundle with the Custom Design upgrade, please post your question directly in the CSS Customization forum for assistance: https://en.forums.wordpress.com/forum/css-customization#postform

@justjennifer – @sharefreetheme is spamming – the site linked to his name has been suspended for TOS problems and the link in the threads is just a spam link to their real site

@jeremybhm good to hear! CSS is usually theme specific so if you are still have questions, do please post there.
