Custom Header Image Size
-
I’ve customised the header image with an image which is exactly the recommended size (1600 x 230) and yet the image appears to be too large for the screen (I’ve checked on other PCs and get the same result.
Hope you can help
Thanks

Hi Steve!
A couple issues:
1. The recommended header size for the header in Twenty Ten is 940 px width and 198 px height. Here is the support page which lists your theme’s specifications:
http://theme.wordpress.com/themes/twentyten/2. I am able to view your header on Firefox, Chrome and Safari on a Mac. Are you still having the same problem on your PC? If so, send me a screenshot, so I can better understand the issue. You can upload the screenshot to your Media Library, like any other image, and I’ll be able to access it from there. Just drop me a line when there are images that I can take a look at.
The page at the following link has some helpful tips for taking screenshots:
Looking forward to hearing from you. Thanks!

Hi
Thank you so much for the prompt reply.
Now I’m feeling guilty. A couple of hours ago, I changed the theme to 2010, which I’m much happier with … and there are no screen resolution issues.
So sorry to have wasted your time … and thanks again.Steve
