If you have Gimp or photo shop you can scale the image to the size required
can you please provide a link to your site so we can see if the header is blurry in our
browsers…. starting with http://~Teck~

http://insideoutsourcing.wordpress.com/I checked it out you need to up the resolution
If you don’t have a photo editing program you
can download gimp for free http://gimp.org -
@christinetran – for the k2 theme make sure that you create your header *exactly* at 780 x 200 pixels, otherwise there’s resizing going on when you upload it. Up the quality rate, ie compression, too.
@teck07-it all displays at 72ppi anyway. My guess is that the quality, ie compression, rate is really low. Bright colors, like orange and red, are the worst at low compression rates. There’s a lot of junk there.
Woah-fixed?

wow, you guys are amazing! what a cool community. okay i fixed the custom header and it looks great now. what about the missing quote graphics with the template? there missing in IE but not firefox?

If you mean your tagline (“Just another WordPress.com weblog”) the minute you upload a customized header it replaces whatever was there. Can’t have it both ways, unless you include it in your graphic.

never mind again, somehow these images were inserted from my computer. i have no idea how that happened but was able to delete it by going to the html view. thanks again for everybody’s help.
