custom header not working

  Hi
  I always change my header image with each new post. Today I went through the usual upload and crop routine, and got the message that the header was successfully changed, but when I go to my site, I’ve got the original image of the theme. Help?

  Argh. In the media library, it says the cropped version “doesn’t exist?”. I’ve tried with several images. same thing keeps happening.
