Custom header photo color fades

  I use my own photos for headers, but the colors are washed out, faded …. yet when I point my cursor to the photo, the color intensifies. I know very little about photography. Is this due to a quality of the photo? Or is there something on wordpress that I can do to hold or intensify the color?

  Hi livingaschildrenofgod,

  Your photo is just fine. Your theme is simply changing the opacity of the image when the mouse hovers over the image.

  If you had Custom Design, you could alter the CSS so that image has a normal opacity value.
