Custom header photo upload – getting an x in the cropping box

I am using Pressrow, and it has a custom header at the top that supports a long narrow image. When I upload a photo it shows the photo and tells me to move the box within my photo so that I crop the ideal part of the image to serve as the header. On many of my photos, though, it does not give me to option to crop – itshows and x in the crop box and then it just uploads the top of the image – even if I go in and edit/save the image to the custom size of the header. Are some of my images too big in terms of memory size? I’ve noticed that anything edited in Photoshop ends up with the x in the box. Is there a way to fix this?

    Thanks!

Based on what i read on other discusison, chainging the name of the photo to one that is specific and all text seems to do the trick.
