Custom header text appearing
-
I’m using the Connections theme. The header was fine when I last checked my blog on Saturday. The Hide Text button has been pushed. In my preview, it shows the text gone, but on the blog it appears. I checked it in IE and Firefox. My blog is here http://momstheword.wordpress.com
What happened?

I have this problem too: http://karenv.wordpress.com even though I selected Hide Text. I’ve only noticed it this morning, it was fine yesterday.

Same here. I toggled the setting and saved it. Tried a force reload and emptying cache as well for kicks. No change. Sent in a feedback and will update when I get any info.

There’s about a dozen threads on this already…
Best bet would be to submit a feedback and let staff know what is occuring. Be sure to tell them what browser, browser version, and OS you’re using as well as any security programs. Failure to do that will me Mark bangs his head against the computer monitor which is not a geed thing.

Is this still a problem? It is doing it with my new blog also at deltadawn.wordpress.com

Thanks! Although I don’t see a “feedback” link in the upper right corner of any of the screens.
Going by your clue, I tried to hide the text by using Safari on a Macbook pro and it worked. It didn’t work originally using Firefox on an XP machine with Norton Internet Security and firewall.

The label on the Feedback link has changed to Support – it’s on the upper right hand corner of any admin side blog page http://wordpress.com/contact-support/
