Custom header without title and RSS title trouble

  • Unknown's avatar

I have a custom header image on the blog (http://48daysblog.wordpress.com) and removed the title so it wouldn’t disrupt the header design. Feed readers who subscribe to the WordPress feed (not the Feedburner feed also on the blog) see “title unknown” and I presume it’s because I have removed the title from the general options page.

Is there a way to keep the custom header without using the title field? If not, is there a tool that could consolidate all the feeds into a single feed that would provide the title for the feed readers? I thought FeedBurner would do that but I haven’t gotten it to work for that purpose either.

yes, you could say on the header <strike>remove text</strike>. but first, you have to go to general options, put the title, save, go back. then, you hide the text, and save the changes.

I have no idea what wiidude is talking about but many of the themes have the option to turn off the text in the header. Look under Custom Image Header and in the box beneath that should be an option to “Hide Text”
