custom hew theme adjustment
-
Hey!
So I absolutely adore the hew theme but there are just 2 things I whish I could change to make it my dresm theme!
1. If you lool the header you will see that the name of your blog is not in the middle and I would like to be able to place it in the middle.
2. The whole theme has like a yellow touch. Some Icons, the header backround and other litte things are yellow. I would love to be able to make them black or grey it would make everything so much more clesner and it would just fit more to my style.Ik my blog is not set yet so I will link u the live preview here so you see what I mean :)

Hi there,
1. If you lool the header you will see that the name of your blog is not in the middle and I would like to be able to place it in the middle.
Due to the way the CSS and HTML are structured, this is a bit difficult and required a good bit of CSS, but give this a try. Make sure and view your site on tablets and phones to make sure things haven’t gone awry anywhere. I checked and don’t see any issues, but it is always good to check.
.site-logo { display: none; } .site-title a { padding-left: 100px; } .site-title { height: 80px !important; padding: 0; background: url('https://secure.gravatar.com/avatar/b2ece7f865549b59a691827bee95c061/?s=80&d=identicon') no-repeat scroll left center transparent; padding-top: 19px; text-align: center; } .site-branding { padding-left: 0; width: 100% !important; }2. The whole theme has like a yellow touch. Some Icons, the header backround and other litte things are yellow. I would love to be able to make them black or grey it would make everything so much more clesner and it would just fit more to my style.
Give the following a try and you can adjust the color as desired.
#masthead, .entry-format { background: #888; }Go to Appearance > Customize > CSS, delete all the informational text in that window, and paste in the above custom CSS.
