Custom homepage (static)

  My website is betterenergyfoundation.org and I basically I am confined to adding images within the page boundaries. I tried using the position absolute but my images would never come out.

  I am trying to do something to this effect (http://betterenergyfoundation.org/wp-content/uploads/2011/01/121212.gif)
  on my homepage but having the rest of the site as is.

  All i really need to do is be able to position images and text outside of the confined spaces and anywhere on the home page. Any help will be appreciated. I am using the theme created with Artistreer
