Are wordpress.com hosted blogs with a custom (non- .wordpress.com) domains accessible within mainland China?

Purchasing a domain does not change the fact that it will still be hosted by wordpress.com.

Thank you for your reply. I have read that thread, and it does not specifically answer whether a custom domain prevents the site from being blocked (the last comment is unanswered. Its not clear if China is blocking by IP range for all wordpress hosted sites, or if they are blocking on a domain by domain basis. The latter would make sense, and would explain all *.wordpress.com sites being inaccessibly.
