Custom HTML block doesn’t support CSS

    when using the block editor’s ‘custom HTML’ block, it does not support css inside a tag(although it does support css in the style attribute) when previewing/viewing the site, but does when previewing the block. When previewing the site it shows the css as plain text, and then when exiting the preview it shows that the , and tags have been deleted, but not their content
    Is there anything I can do to fix this?
