Custom HTML Widget
-
Hi
I’m trying to add the Goodreads Reading Challenge html to the Custom HTML widget but am constantly getting errors. I have copied the info straight from Goodreads, as follows:Lindsay has
read 50 books toward
her goal of
52 books.hide
</div></div>
https://www.goodreads.com/user_challenges/widget/13928382-lindsay?challenge_id=8863&v=2
</div>Can you please advise what the problem is and how can it be fixed?
Thanks
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there, I’m not sure what happened when I added the CODE tags in order to allow us to see the code you were using. Your entire thread disappeared. I apologize for that.
Not all code can be used on WordPressdotcom https://en.support.wordpress.com/code/ and since it looks like your site is on our free plan, the CSS code in that snippet will be striped out of the HTML widget.
Does GoodReads offer a plain HTML link that you can add instead?
