Is there any way I can use a custom HTML widget with the free plan?

  • Hey Eliza,

Yes, you can use Custom HTML blocks on a free WordPress.com site to add HTML to your posts and pages.

Note that certain tags, such as script, iframe, form, input, and style, are only accessible on Business plans and higher.

To add a Custom HTML block:

    1. Click the <strong data-start=”10″ data-end=”30″ style=”background-color: rgba(68, 68, 68, 0.2); font-size: 15px; letter-spacing: 0px;”>+ Block Inserter icon in the editor.
    2. Search for “HTML” and select the Custom HTML block.
    3. Enter your HTML code in the provided box.

You’re good to go—let coding bring your ideas to life!
