Custom HTML widget no longer shows Title and Visibility
-
I have been using the Custom HTML widget for years, and it has always included a Title and Visibility button.

I no longer see these selections.
I especially need the Visibility button since this custom html now displays on my posts. How can I keep it on the main page, but remove it from all posts?
Thank you.The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
For the widgets “Visibility” option still available which you can use as before. :) For that, please go to your_site->Appearance->Widgets as your shared screenshot.Select the custom html block. On the right top you’ll find a setting logo. Click that there will be a sidebar for block from where you’ll find the “Visibility” button. Please see the Screenshot
Hope it will solve your problem.
Happy blogging. -
“Visibility” button
Sorry for the typo you’ll find the “Add new rule” button. How can I keep it on the main page, but remove it from all posts?
Sorry I missed half of my reply. To show in only the main page please click on the “Add new rule” button. Then from visibility you can select “Show this block”. Next from the dropdown choose “page”. Then “front page”.
Please see ScreenshotUpdate the page after that.

Hi there,
Are you speaking of the widget in the footer? That widget doesn’t appear to have any visibility rules set:
If you set them, they might not have saved correctly.
That said, the Custom HTML widget you’re using there is a legacy widget that’s being phased out of the WordPress software, so it’s possible it’s not working correctly any more. Can you try converting that to the new HTML block instead? Then you can reach the visibility options as described above:
