Custom image header?

I’ve been having the same problem. But can’t get any resolution on it… I can see it fine on my computer at work, but not on my computer at home. Am viewing it through IE 7 on both computers….. let me know if someone figures this nightmare out.

You might try flushing your Windows DNS cache. This link talks about it: http://technet2.microsoft.com/windowsserver/en/library/a184e334-2c9f-48c4-abe7-804188200dd91033.mspx?mfr=true
at command prompt type: ipconfig /flushdns

The exact same thing is happening to me. Why the heck isn’t it showing up? I did “the cookie dance”, and I flushed my Windows DNS cache.
I’m on Firefox, btw, if that makes a difference.

http://melodyonline.wordpress.com/ I just checked the blog and it seems to be “cleaned out” header and all. If you are still out there needing help then please post again.

I’m using the same version of Firefox as you.. 2.0.0.11. I’ve tried re-uploading my custom header many times, but still no luck…

Is there any way to fix the network issues? Sorry if I’m pestering, but this really is puzzling..
-
I just opened up my site in IE and it worked… sigh, maybe Firefox thinks the image is an ad or something? I have Adblocker installed.. maybe that’s what’s messing it up?
-
Yup, that did it.
I solved the mystery!!
You have to disable Adblock on Firefox for the image to show.

Try disabling adblocker and see. As far as fixing the internet, if that is the issue, I’m sure they are working on it.

FWIW, I see crossroadtranslations’ header just fine in FF 2 with Ad Block Plus (Fedora 7).

You got to Club Penguin and you ask them for permission to use their graphics in your header. Then you make a header and upload it to your blog.

I just took a look at your site in Firefox and Safari and I cannot see your header either. Do you be change have any transparency in it? The reason I ask is that if you have transparency in an avatar, they will just show up as black, and this could be the case with any images at wordpress.com.
Check and see, and make sure transparency is set to “none” and then save it and upload it again.
