Custom Image Header Keeps Disappearing

Hi, how come my custom image header keeps disappearing? I’ve had my site for a year, so it’s not a user-error problem. It’s just blank right now.
I’m also having sporadic loss of images on my site. Is there a bigger issue going on here? I can tell from a glance through the forums that there are many of us having this problem right now. If so, can WordPress please make a news announcement?

Your header is displaying fine for me using a firefox 2.0.0.7 browser. There was a bigger issue going on here over the weekend. Also the Kubrick theme was updated then and it’s the one you are using.
If you do have problems you can either send in a Support using the blue button on the top right corner of any admin side blog page during support hours or, you can post your details here. Staff do monitor these threads and then will be able to locate your blog and help you.

My blog address is http://thegolddiggers.wordpress.com, and within just the last 15 minutes, all of the images on my site have stopped loading altogether. I’m using Mac OS 10.3.9 and this problem is occurring in Safari, Firefox 2.0.0.7 (the latest version).

The problem that I reported above seems to have been resolved (at least for now). Thanks to whomever might have listened and effected the repair.

I’m having a similar issue: My custom header has disappeared. I’m at http://thirtylbpaper.wordpress.com. Uploaded this header yesterday and everything was fine, but now it has disappeared.

Unfortunately, I spoke too soon. The problem is back again, and judging from other posts subsequent to my original one, others are experiencing the same problem.

Yes same problem. Custom image header at http://acmblog.wordpress.com vanished yesterday, returned again today, only to vbvanish again a few minutes ago. This has never happened before. Any answers please?

Major changes were undertaken on the weekend and some blogs were negatively impacted. Thanks for posting your details here. Staff is on the job. They monitor forum threads and will get to your blog as soon as they can.

Yeah, my custom image header comes and goes. Right now, it’s up and online. Even though I stopped using the one that’s currently live a couple of days ago. No idea what happened to my most recent image.
The problem has been s sporadic and random and has been going on for about a week.

Contact staff. Unfortunately, the Support button on the dashboard is only open during certain hours (9-5 PDT I believe) but use it and let them know all the details. They’re the only ones who can fix this for you.

I posted this in another thread, but we have fixed this issue. You *may* have to upload your header one last time if it disappears but then you should be good to go.

I have had the same problem tonight. I did not change anything, but the custom photo in my header has disappeared.
