Custom Image won’t upload

  I created a custom image to upload as my header, but the file won’t upload. I created the image using a jpeg and added text using Adobe InDesign. I sized the image file to 760 by 190 pixels and exported the file as a jpeg. Whenever I try to upload the file, however, WordPress thinks for a few seconds and then kicks me to a blank Dashboard page. The strange thing is that I can upload other image files.

  If it helps, the jpeg resolution is 2400 ppi, and I exported it as the lowest image quality.

  First off, standard resolution for web images is 72px. Do you have photoshop? If so open the image in photoshop, crop and size it to the exact dimensions required for your theme (see the custom header upload page) and then go to the file menu and select “save for web and devices” and save it from there.

  Upload that image for your custom header.
