Custom Link
-
Have created a custom link for main menu (http://samoaaccommodation.co) Label Book Your Visit Here but it doesn’t appear in main navigation bar.
Also: created a new post today. Made it sticky so appears in slider but not in main post area. It is the latest post and should appear there too, as have all the others
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hello Timethief
I am very confused. the blog I am querying about is http://www.polyxblog.wordpress.com and is one of several site I have on wordpress.com. I love wordpress.com and want to keep my sites there.
I do understand the difference but what in my blog URL would suggest that it is a self hosted site. I accessed the theme through wordpress.com.
Can you please advise and thanks for being there!

Above you placed a link to this site > “Have created a custom link for main menu (http://samoaaccommodation.co) …” and that is not a free hosted WordPress.com blog.
This site is a free hosted WordPress.com blog > http://polyxblog.wordpress.com

Hi
I had followed the instructions to the letter.
I entered the URL into the space provided and gave it a label Book Your Visit Here
Everything shows up fine in the dashboard menu but it doesn’t appear after saving.
I’ve taken screen shots of the instructions and my actions to show that I am trying to be self-reliant but am stuck and my client need that menu item badly
Thanks

Troubleshooting
Custom menu isn’t appearing!
Go to the custom menu page in the dashboard Appearance > Menus and in the “Theme Location” module on the upper left select your custom menu from the pulldown and then click “save”. -
