Custom links – Open in new tab option not there

    Hi everyone.
    I am new to WordPress and have created some “Custom Links” to go into a Menu.
    My problem is I don’t have the option to open these links in New Window/Tab. The place where the tick box normally would be isn’t there.

    I was on a training course just this week and that option was there, but now that I am trying to get my own site its typically not there.
    My theme is 2013.
