Custom Menu deleted half of my menu, and now wont save any changes

    My custom menu will not update. I have Rusty Grunge as my custom theme and have been running a custom menu for over a year. First off, I added new pages to my then correct menu as I usually do. Then, I saved my work and wordpress deleted half of the menu upon moving to the “menus updated” screen! So, I need to revert back to my previous menu from 3 days ago, and then I need to be able to add pages back to the custom menu. Currently, I have half my menu, and I am unable to get any new pages to save to the menu. I add pages, click save, and they don’t show or add to the menu. Please help, as my content is not viewable by my visitors and time is a factor.

    Same thing happened to me! Been waiting for a response from WordPress while my site has been messed up for a few days now…

    My guess is they are on holiday break and will (HOPEFULLY) be fixing this issue tomorrow or Friday.

    Sorry, but when an issue like this occurs and WordPress pretty much fails to respond it’s tempting to want to make sure your voice is heard…

    We regular Volunteers are always trying to be on top of seeing to it that threads that require Staff attention are tagged so they get it. What’s frustrating and even crazy-making for us is when people post into multiple threads on the same issue. That’s when the danger of some some slipping through the cracks is highest. Another crazy-making behavior is bumping your own thread.

    This is why creating duplicate threads and posting into more than one on the same issue is not a wise thing to do. When we create a support ticket by contacting Staff by using the contact link http://en.support.wordpress.com/contact/ or by flagging a thread here in the forums for their assistance it’s important to understand they have a backlog.

    They deal with the support tickets and threads with the earliest dates first. So if we contact them more than once on the same issue or if we bump threads or create duplicate threads the date moves forward and it takes longer to get help.
