Custom menu widget won't appear in sidebar
-
Theme: Twenty Eleven on wordpress.com
Is there a known bug that prevents the custom menu widget from appearing on the sidebar? Other widgets appear there, but not the one I need!
I’ve tried to put it there without any other widgets present and vice versa – to no avail. Could the theme’s one menu limitation be the culprit?
Please help. WordPress is driving me crazy!!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

A Custom Menu Widget should display just fine on the sidebar, even with your theme of choice. Make sure that you have created a custom menu first. Then make sure, when you set up the widget, that you choose that custom you created and click save.

The Twenty Eleven theme does not display a sidebar on Posts.
That is its main distinguishing feature. https://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2011/05/04/workings-of-duster/ -
@ariwinokur Yes, I created a custom menu. See @timethief’s post.
The issue is not moot because I discovered the Screen Options button on the Menu editor page.
