custom message for new subcribers

  I know that my new subscribers are emailed a confirmation email. Is there a way include a custom message with that welcome email

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Information that I only want them to have AFTER they subscribe or is there a way to have a subscriber only page

  The answer to your question is “no”. Please be clear about this any person who subscribes to your blog posts or comments or both provides permission for the receipt only of the posts and comments — nothing more. In some countries using an email address for any purpose other than receiving emailed posts and pages is an illegal act.

  Also note that not all of your subscribers will be supporters of what you are blogging about. Some will be those who subscribe may be those who oppose your points of view and beliefs.
