Custom message not appearing in Facebook
-
I have publicized my blog to Facebook, but the custom message that I add within the WordPress publicize box does not appear in Facebook. This makes my posts look rather random and I cant provide a personal message to my Facebook follows.
What do I need to do to get the custom message to work?

Publicize is not for “custom messages” to your followers it’s for autoposting links to your published posts. The most effective way to promote your posts via social media and social networks is to post unique snippets and links manually to each site. We are drowning in an ocean of duplicated auto-posted snippets and links and by joining social networks we are, in essence, agreeing to be spammed by a select group pf “friends”. Well, these days people are becoming downright snarly about receiving identical impersonal robo-posted snippets and links posted across multiple social networks.

Thanks for your response.
Just to clarify, in the Publicize dropdown there is a box called “Custom Message” that contains the link to my blog entry.
I was under the impression that I could add some text to this box that would appear in Facebook, for example “today I written a post about my experience with…”
Is this not how the “custom message” box works? Any text that I type in that box does not appear in FB
