Custom message on login screen

  I’ve just moved over from hosting my own wordpress blog to one on wordpress.com. Loving the fact that I don’t have to manage it myself, although finding the functionality a bit restrictive compared to the standalone version.

  I’ve got some widget requests (they can wait), but one which would be useful is the ability to add a custom message on the login screen for protected blogs. Nothing fancy, just enough information so that my family don’t get scared off by the login prompts!

  Yeah, one of the other WPMu (or WordPress multiuser, teh software that is run here) installs do this but they haven’t released the code to do it.

  Best thing to do is submit a feedback from your dashboard and make this suggestion. Staff has stated that they keep track on suggestions made via the feedback and they don’t always watch every thread here.
