Custom Page
-
Hi!
I’m using the theme Coraline and I would like to have it in a single column.
I’ve read that, that’s possible with a custom page, but I’ve not idea about how this would work.
Could someone help me with more specific instructions please? Thanks!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

The “no sidebar” page template only applies to “static pages” that you create. In Coraline you cannot have the blog post pages (main page, cats, tags, archives) with no sidebar. You can make the sidebar blank by adding one single blank text widget to the sidebar, but the space where the widgets would be is still there. To hide the sidebar entirely (recover the space) would require some CSS editing experience and the paid CSS upgrade.
There are some new themes here that have a blog-wide “no sidebar” option under themes options, but Coraline is not one of them.
As an alternate, you could create a static front page and assign it the no sidebar page template, but it would not display your posts, it would only display the static information that you added to it when created.
