Custom page permalinks error

  I have my blog https://www.loresult.com/ I am trying to use a custom page. I want to get the value of a variable from URL like this:

  Sone Ki Kimat

  I want to get “/sone-ki-kimat/gold-rates-in-pakistan/” into a variable. I have set my permalinks to %category%%post% etc.

  But when I visit the page the site shows no page found. When I had changed the permalinks to %post% and then changed it back to %category%%post% it worked fine.
  Now what is the reason? I have solved the issue but the reason is not found still.

  Hi there,

  I am glad that you have solved the issue, however this forum is dedicated to WordPress.com users who have hosted their websites on WordPress.com, while your website is using WordPress.org software and is hosted on PDR as I can see here: https://www.whoishostingthis.com/#search=www.loresult.com

  For me it works only like this :/%category%/%postname%/
  the result is : example.com/category-name/post-name
