Custom plugins

  For a client, I am trying to figure out if I am able to upload the following plugins for use with a custom site on WordPress.com using the business plan:
  – Advanced Custom Fields PRO
  – Custom Post Type UI
  – WP Nested Pages

  Also, does WordPress.com sites have the ability to manage permalinks and 301 page redirects for older pages that move to a new URL easily?

  These plugins should work on a WordPress.com site with a WordPress.com Business plan, without any restrictions.

  Changing permalink structures is possible on a WordPress.com site only if the site is on a WordPress.com Business plan.

  I am not very sure about your question on 301 redirection for links. I will tag the post with “modlook” for the WordPress.com staff’s attention.

  Hi @thejustinhough, I don’t believe any of those plugins would be problematic here.

  I’m not sure whether you can easily do 301s or not though. You would not be able to do it manually on the server unless you were self hosted, but there may be a plugin that could do it for you.
