CUSTOM SORTING RULE of posts in categories

    Hi,
    Is there a way to sort posts in each category by custom sorting rule ? Each category will have the same rule.

    The order of posts would be following :
    1. post(s) with today’s date
    2. post(s) with future date (managed with No Future Posts) — : > today
    3. post(s) with past date (already ‘happened’)

    My wordpress page is used as school class’ informational web where will be posted exams, homework etc.

    So for example, today I’ll add three posts with some info about homework and I’ll set first one’s publish date to tomorrow, the second one’s to today and the third one’s to yesterday. – So if I have a look on the page with posts, there are three posts (already sorted by algorithm) –
    –> posts with today’s date
    –>post with tommorow’s date
    –>post with yesterday’s date

    There is a mistake in 2. – it should be without ‘ — :> today ‘

    Hi,

    I think you might be in the wrong forum since you can’t install plugins here at WordPress.com. If you have a self-hosted blog, you need to ask support from WordPress.org instead. Their support forum is at http://wordpress.org/support/

    Just create an account there if you don’t already have one and they should be better able to help you there.
