Custom Stylesheet Theme overlapping with old theme
-
Ok. I’m a newbee and need some help.
I want to add my own Custom Theme Style Sheet and already selected the one I liked from http://custom-wordpress-themes.in/. I downloaded it and copied the theme code. When I went to my CSS Stylesheet Editor, I erased all other codes and pasted the new one. Then I selected “Start from scratch and just use this”. Then clicked Save.
The problem is that the new theme didn’t appear as supposed to. It’s overrlapping with the old theme and looks messeds up.
Can somebody tell me what I’m doing wrong?

CSS is theme specific and unless the CSS you are using is written for a specific theme used here at wordpress.com, you are very likely going to encounter problems.
The only theme here that might possibly accept the CSS, and not turn out wonky would be Sandbox since is virtually wide open. Even with Sandbox though, you are likely going to have to do a lot of “fixing” to get everything to work properly.
