Custom Styling for Navigation Pilcrow
-
I am trying to style the navigation bar for Pilcrow theme. Thus far, I have been able to remove the top and bottom borders, reduce the height of navigation and adjust the margin/padding of the navigation elements. Whilst I have been able to reduce the height of the block background which appears on active and rollover elements, I would like to remove it all together and can’t find where in the stylesheet to do this. I am also unable to change the colour of the navigation text. All styling appears to be absolutely fine when I view on my local machine, but as soon as I test on WordPress, the blocks and original font colours return. I am wondering if the elements I seem to be unable to change are governed by the global or inline styling for this theme – I hope not! :(
Please can you assist?

The first line will remove the background colour on active and hover and set the regular text colour. The second you can use if you want just the active page to have any seperate styling:
#nav .current_page_item a, #nav li:hover > a, #nav ul ul:hover > a {background:transparent; color:#0f0;} #nav .current_page_item a {color:#f0f;} -
