Custom text CSS for Penscratch 2 theme

  May I request someone school me on how to change the text colors on my blog’s theme? Using Penscratch 2. The text, overall, is just a little too light. I would like for all the post text, post titles, headings, etc. to just be #000000 across the board. I know enough about CSS to know I shouldn’t be screwing around with it.

  Currently, my Additional CSS contains this that I found in someone else’s help request on here:

  .main-navigation a, .main-navigation a:visited {
  color: #000000;
  }

  If someone with more smarts than me can provide me with some “Additional CSS” to put in my settings (if it is that simple?), I would be forever grateful!
