Custom theme

  Install custom theme purchased a custom theme from elegant Designs. They have a tutorial which shows how to install, but I can not find the “install Theme” button they show in thier video…

  And now I just read that Word Press does not support uploading custom themes…did I just get ripped off?

  No you weren’t “ripped off”. You purchased a theme you cannot use so return the theme and get a refund.

  The only themes you can use on a free hosted WordPress.com blog are those found here > Appearance > Themes and showcased here > http://wordpress.com/themes/

  You cannot build your own theme or import a theme and use it on a free hosted WordPress.com blog. We do not have FTP access to free hosted WordPress.com blogs and we not able to upload any third party themes.

  There is no upgrade you can purchase that changes that. http://support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/

  If you want to use any third party theme or build your own theme then don’t waste any time here at all. Purchase web hosting http://wordpress.org/hosting/ and set up your own WordPress.org install. http://wordpress.org/ Then move your .wordpress.com blog content into it http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/
