Custom Themes
-
Is this ban from adding custom themes in wordpress temporary or will it never be allowed? I ask you not to prevent the installation of personalized themes, do not do this with your users, the quality of service has plummeted!
And no, the wordpress themes directory is not enough, none of the paid or free themes meet my needs.
Thanks in advance for the support WordPress, and sorry for my criticism. The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hey there mypornhdml!
Themes that are bought externally are not able to be imported to the WordPress.COM site, only WordPress.ORG sites. What this means is that only internal themes are available to those who use WordPress.com as their host.
However, if you were to move your domain to a web host (like Bluehost or HostGator), you would be able to use third-party themes by uploading it through the FTP into the website that’s hosting your WordPress.org software plugin.
The set rules in place for themes on WordPress.com is because you’re trusting WordPress.com to host your site and, therefore, creates the restrictions for it in some sense. All the themes available have all been created by WordPress.com itself. Allowing external themes would affect their security and by having only internal themes, it makes the site itself more secure if everything is in-house.
You can find more on how internal and custom themes operate at these links:
