Custom Themes upload option not present

  So as the title suggests, I cannot find the upload option for uploading custom themes (made with Artisteer).
  I know someone who has free WordPress, just like mine and gets an option to upload a theme on the themes page. This option appears at the top-right region on the themes page whereas I do not get any such option. Whats up with that?

  Hi there,
  You can use Custom Themes, plugins, hosting in WordPress.org, this is a WordPress.com Forum here is more information to understand the difference between WordPress.com vs WordPress.org

  Also to get help on WordPress.org you can use these Support Forums WordPress.org Support

  Also from your ScreenShots, it’s visible that the New Dashboard Calypso, is used for the WordPress.org as well, so you get the option there.

  Hi arckingpin,

  The example site in your first screenshot is not hosted on WordPress.com.
  Instead, the owner is using the Jetpack plugin with their self-hosted site.
  When they do that, they can use their WordPress.com account to manage their self hosted site to do things like add posts/pages/themes/plugins.

  @dcoleonline hi again, thanks for the additional inputs, just got some more cases of Self Hosted ones connect through Jetpack and some questions around them.
