Custom URL?

    I’m just learning my way around WordPress, and have a simple question.

    Say for instance I have my own Web site address (we’ll just say http://www.myname.com). I want to create another page off of my main site. Can I create a custom URL address for this? For example, http://www.myname.com/custom-page-name?
