Custom URL for my e-mail
-
Hi, I just bought the domain mapping upgrade from WordPress. I wanted to have the link “www.mail.commanderbedlam.com” so that it would be more convenient to users. However, I looked at the instructions and my webhost is not listed, plus the instructions are so vague.
How do I go about these instructions below specifically?
Find the CNAME settings and enter the following as the CNAME value or alias:
mail
Set the CNAME destination to the following address:
ghs.google.com
Thanks!

You can setup email through Google Apps for Domains following this guide: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/google-apps-email/

Yes, I already set up google apps. Google provided me the instructions above to have “www.mail.commanderbedlam.com” instead of “https://www.google.com/a/commanderbedlam.com/”
However, the instructions above are really vague.

Ah, you’ll need to get more specific help with Google on that.
More than likely, they’ll give you some DNS records which you can add via your Custom DNS panel: http://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-mapping/custom-dns/
