Custom Write Page for Authors

  I’m looking to make a site using WordPress. I want the site to be able to have users sign up, be automatically be assigned Author roles. Then I want Authors able to make posts from within the blog itself, rather than go into the Control Panel. I was thinking some sort of custom page that would have a text box with the rich text editor. Then from there they could post, and it would we automatically added to the blog.
